Podere "Coltorto", easily accessible and only a few miles east of the A1 autostrada, is set on the unspoilt Tuscan/Umbrian border south of Siena where one can enjoy the views of the beautiful surrounding landscape of Lake of Chiusi
A delightful & very recently restored 3 bedroom, 3 bath farmhouse. With the renovation the owners have created two independent units, one for each floor & have opened just the one on the ground floor, so that present guests will have the exclusive use of the grounds and the pool. The space comfortably sleeps 6 people with three "suites", a large living room, dining room with large open fireplace and a large eat-in kitchen with modern appliances and pizza oven.

The pool (5 meters wide and 12 meters long) is set amongst herbs bushes and olive trees, with lovely views of the surrounding countryside
Coltorto is a great base for touring Southern Tuscany and Umbria; Siena, Montepulciano, Pienza, Cortona, Orvieto, Perugia, Assisi, Lake Trasimeno & Todi are within an easy distance. We also highly recommend the small medieval “jewels” in the area full of hidden treasures such as Chiusi, Paciano, Castiglione del Lago, Città della Pieve. Rome & Florence are 2 hours by car and and 1 hr by train.
